The Graduate School of Life Sciences Camilla Golgi - University of Pavia, in May 2011 has organized five days of specialization entitled "Genome Manipulation", under the supervision of Prof. Daniela Carbonera, prof . Luca Ferretti, Prof. Donata Orioli.
The course was held at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the National Council for Research (IGM-CNR) in Pavia.
In this context, 27 May 2011 prof. Cesare Galli of Avantea gave a lecture entitled "Transgenic animals and their use in the biomedical field with particular reference to xenotransplantation."
