The innovative techniques of Avantea have been selected to participate to the project Italy of Innovators 2011/2012, which aims to enhance Italian innovation within the events attended by the Italian Government.
In particular, the techniques of Cloning and Genetic Rescue have been selected to be in the Italy of Innovators project, as it can be seen in the page dedicated to Avantea on Aginnovazione website ad Avantea,the Agency for the Diffusion of Innovations of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
In the 2011-2012 edition of the initiative, the project was developed - as well as with China, with which were initiated stable relations in the context of technology transfer on the occasion of Expo Shanghai 2010 - with Russia, Brazil, South Korea, and the whole of Europe, as part of the initiatives promoted by the Italian government as the “Year of Italy in Russia”, the “Year of Italy in Brazil”, with the participation of the International Yeosu Exposition (South Korea) 2012 and at the World Horticultural Expo in Venlo (Netherlands) 2012, and Mexico.
The project aims to raise awareness of Italy, not only for the known aspects of the made in Italy, but projecting a more complete picture of the "Country of Innovation", a reality that can create advanced and innovative products in the most different areas from technology to health, safeguarding of the environment to the artistic heritage.
