Avantea flies to Brasile exporting animal reproduction technologies

From the 21st to 25th of May 2012, the Italian Missione Stato Regioni Sistema Camerale 2012 took part in Brasil, the initiative was organised by the Italia Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italian Ministry of Economic Development, 16 Italian Regions, the National Chamber of Commerce System.

The Mission was attended by Dr.ssa Giovanna Lazzari, co-founder of Avantea and Head of ​​scientific research, and it has allowed to organize a dozen meetings between Avantea and companies interested in the work carried out by Avantea on animal assisted reproduction technologies. Avantea, offering its twenty-year experience, can indeed support Brazilian genetic development and businesses, with advanced reproductive technologies.

About 200 companies selected from the 700, who initially joined the project, have been involved in the initiative which had a multi-sectoral approach, with specific focus on Food, Agribusiness, Life Sciences and other important areas for the Made in Italy. The cities of St. Paul, San Jose Dos Campos, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and Santos, which are highly specialized area and a strong export orientation were included in this initiative.

Roundtables with experts were hosted, as well as bilateral meetings, visits to local production sites, B2B meetings with local counterparts.

Brazil offers significant opportunities for cooperation and investment for Italian companies, as Brasil has been identified as a priority country for the “Made in Italy Plan” of the Ministry of Economic Development.
