7-11 Ago 2011: Prof. Galli invited speaker at Transgenic Animal Research Conference VIII, California

Davis (California) will host the Transgenic Animal Research Conference VIIII, where Prof. Cesare Galli of Avantea has been invited to relate on the Xenome, a relevant European Project focused on xenotransplantation from pigs. The event will be held from Sunday, August 7, 2011, through Thursday morning, August 11, 2011. The sessions will be held at the Conference Center at Granlibakken on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, California. The Conference bring together representatives from the leading laboratories worldwide doing cutting edge work on transgenic research in non-murine animals, including livestock, fish and poultry species.

The upcoming conference will again focus on state-of-the-art science in the field of transgenic research. Presentations will address cutting-edge methodology, technical improvements, and current progress towards producing transgenic animals for biomedical and agricultural applications. The intent of these meetings is to bring together scientists to discuss progress, problems, and potential application of transgenic technology for animal applications.
