(Italian Society Animal Reproduction) which was held in Ustica from the 19th to the 22nd\u00a0 of June. Prof. Galli gave a talk entitled :\u201dThe Role of assisted reproductioin in animal breeding and genetic engineering\u201d. During his talk, the state of the art of the assisted reproduction techniques such as Artificial Insemination (AI), Multiple Ovulation and Embryo Transfer (MOET) and<em>\u00a0in vitro<\/em>\u00a0embryo production (IVEP) was presented together with the impact that those techniques have had over the years on the animal breeding, particurarly on bovine.
