Sunday, 13 April marked the grand finale of the first leg of the FISE Young Horse Circuit, sponsored by Avantea, with a day full of excitement.
The event culminated with the Grand Prix classes reserved for 6- and 7-year-old horses, together with the final tests for 5- and 4-year-olds.
The winners of the 7-Year-Old Grand Prix were awarded by Dr. Marco Muscariello, Marketing Director of Avantea, confirming the company’s strong commitment — as a European leader in animal reproduction biotechnology — to supporting the development and improvement of equine breeding.
7-Year-Old FISE Grand Prix – Two-Phase H140
In the 7-Year-Old Grand Prix, Alessandro Colombo with Secret Music L3B took first place, completing the course with no faults and the best time of 38.46 seconds. Second place went to Francesca Ciriesi, also faultless, with a time of 39.07 seconds riding Dakota EH Z. Third place was awarded to Francesco Corredu with Boy Blue, who completed the course in 40.81 seconds.
6-Year-Old FISE Grand Prix – Two-Phase H130
In the 6-Year-Old Grand Prix, Giuseppe Frighi stood out with Sunrise Moon, completing the course in 41 seconds and recording the fastest time in the category. Second place went to Lorenzo Corredu with Deboi, who stopped the clock at 43.47 seconds. The competition concluded with Paolo Pompilio, who secured third place with Dondiegos thanks to a time of 47.15 seconds.
5-Year-Old FISE Category – Judged Class H120
The category reserved for 5-year-old horses was won by Lorenzo Corredu, riding Easy F.L., who completed the course with no faults and achieved a total score of 120 points. Second place went to Paolo Adorno with Nairobi Z.G.Z., who scored 118 points, while Rebecca Schiaratura took third place with Allberry Destiny’s Z, scoring 117.5 points.
4-Year-Old FISE Category – Judged Class H105
Finally, the category reserved for 4-year-old horses saw another victory for Alessandro Colombo with Daydream 2000 Z, who achieved 104.5 points. Second place went to Lorenzo Corredu with Frida Flay, while Elia Villotti finished third with Rockstar VG.
The day ended with great enthusiasm from all participants. The event highlighted the talent and passion of the riders and their young horses, confirming the success of the FISE Young Horse Circuit.
