From 18 to 22 September 2024, Avantea participated in the highly anticipated FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for young horses, hosted by Zangersheide Stud. This annual event draws the attention of breeders, riders, and equestrian professionals from around the world.
The championship is one of the most prestigious events for show jumping horses, offering emerging talents in the discipline a global platform to showcase their potential in front of a knowledgeable audience of industry experts and enthusiasts worldwide.
Each country follows a specific qualification process for the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship in Lanaken. In Italy, for instance, the finest young horses were selected through the FISE/MASAF Circuit, culminating in the finals held in Cattolica from 29 August to 1 September 2024. This event gave promising five, six, and seven-year-old horses the opportunity to demonstrate their talent under the guidance of some of Italy’s top riders, securing their place for Lanaken.

This year, Avantea played a pivotal role by offering FISE two wild cards, awarded to the top two foreign horses achieving the best results in the rankings on the third day of the competition at the Cattolica finals.
