Avantea is proud to announce its participation in the European Practitioner Symposium on Equine Reproduction (ESER) 2024, which will take place in Ghent, Belgium, on October 10-11, 2024. This event represents an important opportunity for continuing education for veterinarians and clinicians specializing in equine reproduction medicine.
ESER 2024 will feature over 30 internationally renowned experts from Europe and North America, with more than 400 professionals expected to attend. The scientific sessions will cover highly relevant topics, such as late pregnancy pathologies, perinatal issues affecting mares and foals, and orthopedic surgery techniques for the growing foal.
A distinctive feature of this year’s event will be the offering of interactive workshops, led by panels of experts, allowing participants to deepen their knowledge through brief presentations and group discussions.
A highlight for Avantea will be the participation of Professor Cesare Galli, key figure in the field of equine assisted reproduction. Galli will speak as a lecturer in the Embryo Transfer & ART session (Van Eyck Hall), with a presentation titled “Factors Affecting Results When Using OPU-ICSI”. His lecture will provide a detailed overview of the factors influencing the outcomes of the Ovum Pick Up-ICSI technique, one of the most advanced procedures in equine reproduction. With his extensive experience and leadership in the field, Galli will guide participants through the latest innovations reshaping equine reproductive biotechnology on a global scale.
