Third Leg of the FISE Young Horses Circuit by Avantea in Tortona: Saturday’s Results

Saturday, June 14th, the Il Torrione Equestrian Center in Tortona hosted an intense and thrilling day of the third leg of the FISE Young Horses Circuit presented by Avantea, featuring some of the most promising prospects of Italian and European sport horse breeding. The FISE classes for 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old horses took place on the Derby field, offering the public a day of top-level sport.

Seven-Year-Olds: Alessandro Colombo and Secret Music L3B clock the fastest time

In the 7-year-old class (H140 – Table A against the clock), Alessandro Colombo secured the top spot riding Secret Music L3B, delivering a flawless round in 63.40 seconds, demonstrating precision and speed on a technical course.

 

He was followed by Switzerland’s Clint Sulmoni on Aarhof’s Cazano, who also produced a clear round but in a slightly slower time of 64.51 seconds. Third place went to Mario Rota riding Indiana di Valmarina, a mare by Emerald Van’t Ruytershof, with a time of 64.91 seconds. Colombo also placed a second horse, Sushi L3B, in fourth position, ahead of Filippo Pagan Griso on Nickelodeon VDL, who finished fifth with 65.67 seconds.

Six-Year-Olds: Carabiniere Francesco Correddu dominates

In the 6-year-old class (H130 – Special Two-Phase), Carabiniere Francesco Correddu claimed victory with Danubios, completing both phases without penalties and posting a lightning-fast 28.27 seconds in the second phase.

 

Right behind him was his stablemate Filippo Codecasa aboard Joli Coeur d’Aiguilly, who also delivered a double clear in 28.62 seconds. Third place went to Simone Paciotti with Million Blue del Rilate, bred in Italy, who finished in 31.58 seconds. Clio Boni on Zambesi Blue and Chiara Galeazzi on Dardanos van het Poeleind Z followed, both producing clear rounds.

Five-Year-Olds: Comme Toi shines under Elena Codecasa

In the 5-year-old class (H120 – Style and Performance class), the win went to Elena Codecasa riding Comme Toi, a 2020-born grey mare, who impressed with her quality and precision, scoring the highest mark of 115.75 and completing the round in 72.34 seconds.

 

She was followed by Carabiniere Francesco Correddu, who placed two horses on the podium: second with Easy F.L. (112.75 points, 70.47 seconds) and third with Dhuilio de le Garzide Z, by Diamant de Semilly, who earned 111.75 points in 69.84 seconds.

 

Fourth place went to Switzerland’s Clint Sulmoni on Non Plus Ultra, while Morgan Bisi completed the top five with Ulysses van de Saffraanberg, also delivering a clear and well-scored round with 109.5 points.
